As chic as she is raucous\, Cannelle is a fierce new voice at the vanguard of pop’s blossoming left-field electronic inspired scene. The 22-year-old Aix-En Provence -born\, Los Angeles-based artist ’s glitter-encrusted music has captivated in-the-know listeners since he r music debut in 2024. Cannelle’s early-Tumblr-era upbringing informed h er DIY surrealist visuals\, pastels\, and feminine interiority\, while h er sonic palette was influenced by such artists from the early ED Banger days. Accented by her icey-blue-hair\, Cannelle’s always striking fashi on and innate sense of style led to an early and established career in m odeling that’s seen her work with Valentino\, Marc Jacobs\, Rimowa\, as well as land impactful high-fashion editorials. She’s since gone on to t hrill French and international fans alike with melt-in-your-mouth pop ea rworms like “CLOVER”\, “DIAMOND CUTS”\, “FILLE”\, and “MP3”.
Cannelle finds herself alongside a global movement of artists like Rosalía celebrating their heritage by singing bilinguall y and proving that language is no barrier to connection. Lifted from the nickname she earned running an Ariana Grande fan page as a teenager. As one of the few Black women working at the intersection of electroclash and french pop music at an international level\, Cannelle isn’t waiting for a seat at the table.
