who will not be free to go home over the winter holidays. For every $17 donated, IPP will purchase and deliver items for one care package. These gifts are a meaningful way to show incarcerated women that they are not forgotten on the outside. It is especially impactful for women who will not have visitors or receive any other presents. On Sunday, October 18, 10:15–11:00am, all ages will gather in the Parish Hall to assemble Holiday Care Packages. Please Donate! The Outreach Committee set a goal of fundraising at least $680 for 40 Holiday Care Packages. Please consider donating any amount to this service project. Donate online at stannholytrinity.org/donate. Select Service Project for the fund. Donate in-person on Sundays with cash or check. Interfaith Prison Partnership (IPP) Founded in 2007 and located in Westchester County, New York, IPP is a community-based, interfaith non-profit organization that exists to increase awareness of the inherent value of incarcerated individuals, promote and provide for their welfare, and connect local communities with their neighbors behind bars. Learn more at interfaithprisonpartnership.org. Two IPP representatives will visit St. Ann s on Homecoming Sunday, September 13, as well as on October 18, to share about IPP s important work. Roslyn Smith is Beyond Incarceration Program Manager for V-Day, a nonprofit working to end violence against women, girls, and the planet. Roz will share her experience of being incarcerated for 39 years, followed by in-depth advocacy work. She spoke and participated in St. Ann s first IPP service project to prepare activity kits for children visiting their mothers in prison. Elizabeth Friend-Ennis, IPP s Executive Director, has worked in chaplaincy since 2016, following theological graduate studies in providing trauma-informed spiritual care.
