For centuries, amphibians have leapt through myths, fairy tales, and illustration, symbolizing transformation, mystery, resilience, and renewal. Their remarkable journey between water and land has made them powerful visual metaphors, while their unusual forms, colors, and expressive personalities continue to captivate both artists and their audiences. From children’s books and comics to fantasy, environmental narratives, and scientific illustration, amphibians and reptiles offer endless possibilities for interpretation. RIBBIT brings together the work of Society of Illustrators members, celebrating these extraordinary creatures through narrative, humor, imagination, observation, and artistic expression. – Leslie Cober[/vccolumntext][vccolumntext css= ][/vccolumntext][/vccolumn][vccolumn width= 1/2 ][vcemptyspace][vcsingleimage image= 158728 css= ][vcemptyspace][vccolumntext css= ] Exhibition curated by Leslie Cober A jury will determine the Stevan Dohanos Award Artists Featured: Bill Mayer Michael Garland Carol Schwartz John Dykes Red Nose Studio John Cuneo Leslie Cober [/vccolumntext][/vccolumn][/vcrow]
