Wine 101: Pairings

Liz's Book BarCarroll Gardens

Join us for an unconventional wine pairing workshop. Pairings are hard and, in a way, entirely conceptual. that makes the pairing opportunities intoxicating and plentiful. To try and crest this growing hill, we'll hold a night of pairings- but not with food. When sipping our Beaujolais Rose, what song do you think of? Or the Côtes du Rhône—what authors' writing style does it remind you of? Have fun with it, get a sense for what each wine is to you- that's our simple and easy goal. Come meet new people and be ready for a bit of writing, debating, (ungraded) pop quizzing and, of course, sipping! Your ticket includes 4-5 tastes of wine. RSVP HERE
