intimate encounters with one of the world’s foremost collections of European fine and decorative arts, including celebrated works by Vermeer, Rembrandt, Fragonard, Turner, and more. During your OHNY visit, learn how the Frick mansion became The Frick Collection in our signature gallery talk, A Home for Art, offered at 10:00 and 11:30 a.m. Visitors are also invited to explore the Frick Art Research Library. Discover our beautiful reading room, open from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., with a brief talk on the historic space’s architecture at 10:00 a.m. Throughout the event, a mobile book cart featuring selections on architecture from the library will be available in the museum’s Elizabeth M. and Jean-Marie R. Eveillard Hall. Also on view: Siena: The Art of Bronze, 1450–1500, the first exhibition to focus on Siena as a center of artistic excellence and technical innovation in bronze sculpture. The groundbreaking show brings together some forty masterworks—many of which have never been shown outside of Tuscany—inviting visitors on a journey through Renaissance Siena and the beauty and versatility of bronze. Round out your day with a stop at the Museum Shop for all your Frick-inspired gifts, plus grab a refreshing beverage or pastry at our coffee bar or dine at our full-service café, Westmoreland.
