RR Queens:Gathered Around Books

the New York City skyline, with the glow of the big virtual fireplace and the familiar sound of a crackling fire bringing a little warmth to a November night. Pull out the sweaters and scarves, bring the book you're currently enjoying, and cozy up with our community of passionate readers and socializers. Read for a while. Lookup and join the conversation. Discover what someone across the table is reading, exchange recommendations, grab a drinks and dinner nibbles, make a new connection or two. That's part of what we love about Reading Rhythms Queens—the books bring us together, but the conversations keep us gathered. 📚 Wednesday, November 18 📍 Greats of Craft Rooftop | Long Island City, Queens Come solo or bring a friend. Bundle up, bring your book, and gather around with us. 🔥📖 Reading Rhythms is a series of welcoming reading parties designed to make it easy for people to gather and read socially. We invite you to bring any book you want and facilitate silent reading periods, as well as 1-on-1 breakouts, and group discussions to pull on the threads of the books that everyone is engaging with. In a world that can often feel devoid of interest and meaningful connection, we bring readers together to reconnect with our love of learning, to experience the wonder of beautiful venues and curated music, and to gather amongst all of the people who want to be in that very same room. Our favorite conversations happen in the Reading Rhythms mobile app. Join us there → https://readingrhythms.app Disclaimer: By purchasing a ticket, you agree to have your photo/video used for social media/marketing materials, both as property of Reading Rhythms and other publications that may be present at our reading parties.
