Universal Westerns
A series drawing on Universal's archive, capturing the sweep of Universal's Western output from Ford's first surviving feature (1917's Straight Shooting) to the Anthony Mann/James Stewart collaborations that kicked off in 1950 with Winchester '73, to post-Vietnam revisions of the form like Peter Fonda's The Hired Hand (1971) and Clint Eastwood's High Plains Drifter (1973).
