diarist, 2007’s “Most Enthusiastic at Day Camp” winner, and interminable list maker. Inspired by the lyrical depth of Joni Mitchell, the rhythmic vitality of Mumford & Sons, and the brazen emotionality of Alanis Morissette, her songs explore coming of age, relationships, and feminine angst through her introspective lyrics and muscular acoustic guitar playing. Pizzarelli is also a Zoom graduate of Brown University and an alumna of the LaGuardia High School for Music and Art & Performing Arts vocal department, where she was a member of the acclaimed New Music Ensemble.
