This Saturday, October 17, join artist Rebecca Purcell for an experiential workshop for artists, writers, makers, and anyone seeking to deepen their creative practice. perceiving, imagining, and making. The eye—mythological symbol, spiritual portal, and instrument of vision—will guide our inquiry. Alongside narrated texts, curated images, and in-class writing, drawing, and looking exercises, participants will create a small framed eye: a talisman and physical record of the workshop’s journey. Each session will conclude with time to share work in progress. You’ll leave with fresh creative material, an expanded practice of looking, and a handmade object that looks back at you.
