highlighted resources including Indigenous art history survey texts, foundational books, periodicals, databases, and artists’ files, as well as significant landmark and current Indigenous art exhibition catalogs. In addition, the program will touch on important research and cultural centers for Indigenous art for further in-depth research. Throughout the research process, we will view our sources with a critical eye as we evaluate and consider their authority on North American Indigenous art. This program complements the exhibition Kent Monkman: Officer and Laughing Girl. Live captioning will be provided.
