sculpture through paradox, physical action, transformation, and repetition. The exhibition explores affinities between Wurm, Jackson Pollock, and Samuel Beckett through their shared engagement with the limitations of their respective mediums. Alongside sculptures, films, photographs, and works on paper from across Wurm’s oeuvre, the exhibition features works by Pollock, including the rare sculpture Stone Head, archival material, and Hans Namuth’s 1951 film documenting Pollock at work. Beckett’s television works Eh Joe (1966) and Quad (Quadrat I + II) (1981) are presented alongside them. Chamber Play examines art as a space for confronting the complexities of human existence, asking enduring questions about what it means to be human and how art might expand our understanding of the human condition.
