Collection in Focus | Zidane, a 21st century portrait

Bringing together art and sport, this exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to take part in and celebrate the artistry of one of soccer's most iconic players alongside the collective joy of the World Cup. A two-channel video projection by Douglas Gordon and Philippe Parreno follows celebrated athlete Zinedine Zidane in real time over the course of a single match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid. The ninety-minute video will be screened on a continuous loop during museum hours in the Guggenheim's Peter B. Lewis Theater.
