Frozen Frames – Celebrating Yellowstone National Park
Join The Explorers Club and renowned wildlife photographer Tom Murphy and experience a bit of America’s most magnificent park. Photographer Tom Murphy has dedicated his life to speaking out for the wildlife of Yellowstone. In the dead of winter, Murphy treks deep into the Park to document the lives and struggles of those who survive there. His remarkable photographs capture both the magnificence of Yellowstone and one man’s tenacious dedication to protect what is still wild. This event will feature Tom presenting some of his own work and story, as well as a early screening of an upcoming PBS documentary about his work titled Frozen Frames: Murphy’s Yellowstone. All guests will receive a free signed print of Tom’s Bison Commemorative Stamp, recently released by the United States Postal Service. This in-person event at the Explorers Club Headquarters will include an audience Q&A and a book signing. RESERVATIONS This will be an in-person lecture at Explorers Club Headquarters. In-person tickets are $20 for Members, and $35 for the General Public. Check-in will begin at 6:00 pm, with a beer and wine reception from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
